I'm a web3 lawyer and formerly ChainSafe System's Legal Counsel and Corporate Development Lead. I led the executive team through the company's USD$18.75M Series A financing and international expansion efforts into the US, Germany (ChainSafe GmbH) and Croatia (Node Factory acquisition).
Prior to joining ChainSafe, I briefly ran my own legal practice and worked at a boutique corporate / securities law firm where I advised businesses ranging from first-time entrepreneurs to international blockchain and cryptocurrency businesses.
In addition to my experience practising law, I previously worked at a venture capital fund and conducted research for a Canadian payment law & cryptocurrency thought leader. More recently, I instructed over two semeters the “Laws and Regulations” course as part of George Brown’s Blockchain Development Program.
Out of the office, you can find me on the tennis courts, running, or playing some favourites on my Fender Jazzmaster.
