Purpose

Sometimes referred to as a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), an agreement that aims to ensure that confidential information is not disclosed beyond those who need to know the information and typically for a specific purpose. They are used in a variety of contexts, such as acquisitions, joint ventures, private placements, employment, supplier and services arrangements and other commercial transactions.
